Quality Assurance Specialist - Customers

As a QA Specialist Customers, you play a key role in ensuring that our international customers receive products they can trust. You’ll be the go-to person for questions about product quality, food safety, and organic integrity. Whether it’s reviewing labels, handling customer questionnaires, or supporting audits, you help bridge the gap between our products and customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

As a Quality Assurance Specialist Customers, you ensure that our (inter)national customers can rely on safe, organic products. You are the primary point of contact for questions related to quality, food safety, and organic integrity. Since many of our customers are international, you’ll regularly communicate in English.

Your work mainly consists of administrative tasks such as completing customer questionnaires, managing product specifications, and processing quality documentation. The real challenge lies in these processes: you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas on how to make them smarter and more efficient. You’ll work closely with three other QA Specialists Customers, handling customer-related quality matters as a team, based on each other’s strengths.

As QA Specialist Customers, your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries related to quality, food safety, and organic integrity.
  • Managing product specifications: converting all relevant product information into the DO IT Organic format, ensuring it is clear and accessible for customers.
  • Performing label checks and monitoring compliance.
  • Supporting audits and maintaining the required documentation.
  • Completing customer questionnaires.
  • Contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency.
  • Participating in projects, such as optimizing internal workflows or increasing the visibility of our brands in retail.

In addition to your direct collaboration within the QA Customers team, you’ll be part of a broader quality department with colleagues focused on other QA/QC specialisms. You report to the Quality Manager and work in an open-plan office, where you’ll have your own sit-stand desk. Thanks to short communication lines, it’s easy to connect with colleagues from other departments. Your workday starts flexibly between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., as long as you work 8 hours a day, ideal for balancing work and personal life.

What will you bring?

  • You have a completed degree in food science or a related field.
  • You have 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry.
  • You have strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • You are accurate, independent, and solution-oriented.
  • You have an affinity with organic products.
  • You are preferably available full-time (40 hours a week).
