THE POWER OF ORGANIC
Agriculture covers almost 45% of the Earth’s habitable land surface and has an impact on the environment. That is why we pay close attention to how our food is grown. For us, it is not just about the end product, but about the entire supply chain and the way organic ingredients are produced.
Organic farming follows specific principles and production methods, including restrictions on the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. For DO IT Organic™, organic is at the heart of our product range and our ambition to make organic food more widely accessible. With a carefully selected global network of farmers, we offer various unique organic food ingredients - such as chia seeds from Paraguay, cocoa from Peru, and cashew nuts from Vietnam. We supply fully certified organic ingredients in accordance with applicable USDA organic standards.
Our CEO Hendrik Wijnen explains in the video below how we work together every day to support the transition to organic farming.
OUR CORE VALUES
At DO IT Organic™, we support the transition to organic farming by making organic food ingredients and products more widely accessible to our customers. Our mission is only possible when we keep our core values at the heart of everything we do.
We foster personal, long-term partnerships and value every link in the organic supply chain. Guided by our shared ambition, we work together toward a food chain in which organic plays an increasingly important role, for generations today and tomorrow. We are fully committed to making that ambition a reality.
That’s how we DO IT: 100% involved, improving together, safely.
DRIVEN BY THE ORGANIC PRINCIPLES
At the heart of everything we do are the four principles of organic agriculture: Care, Health, Ecology, and Fairness. These principles strongly influence our approach and inspire the way we work together across the global organic food chain.
To emphasize their importance, we have assigned an ambassador to each principle who demonstrates how these values guide and inspire our operations.
B CORP™ CERTIFIED
We are proud to be a certified B Corp™ since 2023 – part of a global movement that uses business as a force for good. This certification recognises companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
To qualify, businesses must achieve a minimum score of 80 on the B Impact Assessment. With a total score of 97, we are pleased with what we have achieved so far - but even more motivated by the road ahead. Being a B Corp™ supports our commitment to continuously developing as an organization. We take that responsibility seriously and continue working to improve our social and environmental performance.
OUR VISION FOR ACTION
Organic is at the heart of what we do, but our responsibility goes beyond certification. To better understand our impact beyond the certificate, we conducted our first Double Materiality Analysis (DMA).
Based on ESRS guidelines, this process offers valuable insights into how we affect the world around us – and how that world, in turn, shapes our business. This marks an important step in how we grow with responsibility and insight.
